Steve Noriega, founder and CEO of Epic Brand, has spent over 15 years in the sales and marketing realms of the home improvement industry. With a background in textile engineering, an MBA with a concentration in international business, and extensive experience in retail management across the globe, Steve brings a unique blend of knowledge and passion to his entrepreneurial endeavors.

Before fully immersing himself in the entrepreneurial world, Steve served as a director of a global specialty retail company. His role encompassed corporate training, product development, engineering, and sales and marketing. Although this position offered significant responsibilities and opportunities, Steve felt a deep-seated drive to pursue something even greater.

In 2010, Steve founded Epic Brand, a family of digitally native brands within the home improvement and specialty retail industries, now based in Wilmington, NC. The brand’s inception occurred while he was working across the United States, Europe, and the United Kingdom. These diverse experiences helped shape his vision for Epic Brand Clothing, set to be re-launched later this year as the flagship brand where all profits will be directed towards helping those in need. Epic Brand stands out not only for its business acumen, but also for its strong philanthropic and faith-driven commitment.

Earlier this year, the company sold its first-ever brand to initiate the launch of a 501c3 non-profit organization, Epic Brand Cares. This non-profit arm is what truly sets Epic Brand apart. The goal is to have different collections across several brands, each associated with a specific charitable organization. Customers can directly see where their money is going, ensuring transparency and fostering trust.

“We’ve seen apparel companies donate a pair of shoes or socks when they sell a pair,” Steve explains. “I’ve never seen a company donate 100% of their profits in an effort to help all these different charitable organizations. Epic Brand Clothing will donate 100% of its profit and I aim to have several brands in the Epic Brand family doing the same.”

Epic Brand currently supports major organizations like Habitat for Humanity and World Vision, even sponsoring two children through World Vision. They also support several community outreach programs throughout Philadelphia, which has the highest poverty rate amongst the most populated cities in the United States.

Steve’s vision for Epic Brand is not just about business success, but about making a tangible difference in the world. By merging his extensive industry knowledge with a profound commitment to helping others, he has created a unique business model that not only thrives commercially but also contributes significantly to social good.
